We've been doing quite a bit of fishing lately, but haven't caught anything worth telling about. We have had so much rain that everything is flooded. We can't seem to find where the fish went. Last night, Briana and her boyfriend went fishing with us and we built a fire. It was so relaxing to just sit and watch the fire. We all love campfires! It made us wish we were in Colorado. We haven't been camping for the last couple of years. We used to go every summer. With the price of gasoline, we probably won't be able to go again this summer. Sadness!!!!

We went to Missouri this past weekend to see Jeff's 92 year old Grandma. She still lives by herself and does everything for herself. She is amazing! We also were able to see a bunch of cousins. We had a weiner roast for lunch on Sunday with s'mores and all. Great fun!

Me and my little boy

My little son Derrick! I sure love that boy! Isn't he lookin' good in that tux!!

Sweet little children

My three little sweeties (what a cute smile on Elijah!) He likes to scrunch up his face when you ask him to smile. So funny! Mason and Belah love to cook when they come to "Aunt Nini's" house. (that's what they call me) Mason and Elijah love their cousin Briana!!

Elijah

Elijah was playing with his cup of water. He would squeeze the water out of his cup and into a little bucket and then drink the water. I think he made more of a flood than anything! :-)

My new bird Runako

This is Mason and Belah holding my new bird Runako. (roo-nah-co) His name means handsome. He was hatched January 4th. He is a very sweet bird and loves to be held and played with.

Ashton in play

Below are pictures of Ashton in the play "A Hairy Tale". She was Ida, a peasant mom.

Baby Kittens

We have had many pets over the years, but never had one have babies. That is until now! One of our outdoor cats just had kittens last night. She had five, but two of them died. Hopefully the other three will be alright. It was fun to get to be with our cat while she gave birth. The babies are so cute and tiny. Mom brought Mason and Belah out here so they could see them. Great fun!!

I have some good pics I plan to post. Kittens, a new pet bird I got a week ago, Ashton in her play, and some of my sweet little nephews and niece. I need to get busy!! Well, I have been busy, just not "Blogging". Hopefully I will have some pictures of Jeff's fish too. He has been a fishing fool lately!
